Penticton Photography - Rob Dewar and Lisa Palmer

Rob Dewar and Lisa Palmer are two long-time Okanagan residents who share a passion for the area's unique climate, geography and wildlife, and for the imagery that comes with it, along with their artistic talents for capturing and presenting the emotions of that imagery in printed photographs. Combining this love, with their natural attraction to the outdoors, and the unparalleled selection of fantastic natural scenery and remarkable seasonal variation bursting from every corner of the region, they set off regularly into the numerous less-traveled woodland spaces in and around the Valley, following and discovering hundreds of backroads, trails, paths, streams, ravines, fields, mountain ridges and occasionally, the remains of old, deserted habitation sites from past local settlers, and photographing all they see. As well as all of the area's local natural beauty, many other intriguing photographic opportunities of other kinds present themselves, along the way.

More recently, Rob and Lisa have begun reproducing and mounting selected images from their collections to share with the public, allowing others to experience these same breathtaking, emotionally-inspiring moments in the Okanagan's past visual history, captured only once, through Rob abd Lisa's lenses, and their artistic vision. Every image presented is an original photo of an actual, exisiting scene, taken with a high-end digital camera, and personally printed, mounted and signed by the photographers. They hope you enjoy their collection of images, as much as they enjoyed capturing them.
